DOCTOR-LED WEBSITE ASSURANCE

Clearer healthcare content

Stronger assurance, greater confidence

We review your healthcare website for treatment claims, advertising risk, patient clarity and overall quality — with every report reviewed by a doctor before it is issued.

Website Assurance Review — from £695. Pricing is tailored to the number of relevant pages on your website.

  • Clinically reviewed by UK doctors
  • Structured whole-site review across an agreed scope
  • Executive summary and prioritised action plan
  • Suggested wording where appropriate

Why this matters

See the risks before they become problems

Healthcare website issues can lead to more than a wording change. Advertising may need to be amended or withdrawn, public rulings can follow, and some concerns can be escalated to regulators.

Advertising amended or withdrawn

Problem wording may need to be changed or removed.

Public regulatory action

Some findings can lead to a published ruling or formal action.

Escalation where concerns persist

Serious or repeated issues can be referred on for further enforcement.

How Vericenta helps

Clear findings and practical next steps

Healthcare content must meet clinical, regulatory and patient-safety standards.

We identify the issues that matter most, prioritise them clearly and provide practical next steps your team can act on.

Treatment, outcome and evidence claims

The issue

Claims about treatment, results, safety or performance that may go beyond the supporting evidence.

Why it matters

Unsupported or overstated claims may need to be amended or removed and can attract regulatory scrutiny or formal enforcement.

How Vericenta helps

We identify the claim, assess the risk and highlight where evidence, qualification or clinical review is needed.

Prescription medicines and promotional wording

The issue

Public-facing medicine references, comparisons or promotional claims that may breach advertising requirements.

Why it matters

Medicines promotion is tightly regulated, making some wording significantly higher risk than standard marketing content.

How Vericenta helps

Material advertising concerns are identified, assessed and prioritised, providing clear assurance on the issues that need review and the action required.

Patient understanding and safety

The issue

Important information on risks, suitability, limitations or treatment may be unclear, incomplete or overly reassuring.

Why it matters

Clear, balanced information helps patients understand their options, expectations and any important limitations.

How Vericenta helps

Key information is assessed for clarity, balance and prominence, helping support informed patient decisions.

Trust, credentials and website quality

The issue

Unclear pricing, inaccurate credentials, regulator information or other website issues that may affect credibility.

Why it matters

Clear, accurate trust signals strengthen patient confidence. Inconsistencies or errors can quickly undermine it.

How Vericenta helps

Material issues are identified and prioritised, giving your team clear assurance on what needs attention and practical guidance on what to change.

Ongoing Assurance

Keep your website assured as your business evolves

Ongoing Assurance helps your organisation identify new risks early, keep important actions on track and stay aligned as your website, services and campaigns evolve.

Monitoring, professional review and clear prioritisation give your team a more manageable way to protect the quality of your healthcare website over time.

An annual doctor-led assurance review is included, bringing together your wider scope, monitoring history, previous findings and outstanding priorities.

About Vericenta

Doctor-led assurance for healthcare websites

Vericenta combines clinical judgement, regulatory awareness and systematic review to give healthcare organisations a clearer, more reliable view of website risk.

Led by a GMC-registered, UK-trained doctor with experience in safety-critical regulated industries, every review is designed to identify the issues that matter, distinguish material risk from background noise and turn findings into clear, prioritised action.

This approach brings professional judgement and structured assurance together — helping organisations strengthen patient-facing content, support compliance and make confident decisions about what needs attention.

The clinical lead’s work has also been published in the British Journal of General Practice.

FAQ

What is Vericenta?
Vericenta is a doctor-led healthcare website assurance service designed to help organisations identify material clinical, regulatory and patient-facing risks, prioritise what matters and take clear, practical action.
What do I receive at the end of the review?
A professional assurance report with an executive summary, prioritised findings, practical actions, relevant evidence context, suggested wording where appropriate and a verification checklist.
What does the review cover?
Your public website is mapped and reviewed within an agreed scope, with a clear record of the pages and content assessed. This gives your organisation a defined assurance baseline rather than a general or informal review.
How is the review carried out?
Vericenta combines structured automated analysis with professional review. Public-facing content is examined systematically to surface potential issues across larger websites, while substantive clinical, regulatory and reviewer-routed findings are professionally reviewed before the report is issued. Doctor-led judgement is applied where relevant, with website health and quality checks included as supporting assurance.
How is my price decided?
Pricing is based on the number of relevant pages within scope. Our free website check estimates this and helps identify the most suitable review tier.
Why choose Vericenta?
Vericenta brings together systematic website analysis, clinical judgement and practical assurance in one service. The aim is not simply to identify issues, but to help your team understand their significance, prioritise action and strengthen the quality and defensibility of your patient-facing content.
What does Ongoing Assurance do?
Ongoing Assurance helps maintain the position established by your initial review as your website, marketing and regulatory environment change. Monitoring, open actions, governance evidence, new content and relevant regulatory updates are brought together in one continuing service.
Can I add Ongoing Assurance later?
If you add Ongoing Assurance within 90 days of a completed Vericenta review, we can normally use that review as the starting point for monitoring. After 90 days, a fresh Website Assurance Review establishes the current position before monitoring starts.
How long does a review take?
Most standard reviews are completed within 5–7 working days once scope is confirmed. Larger or more complex websites may require additional time.
How is the report delivered?
Reports are delivered securely. One-off clients receive a secure report link, while Ongoing Assurance clients can access reports, monitoring history, actions and subscription information through the secure client dashboard.
